Shuttle Service
Shuttle service is provided to and from the airport and local hotels during normal business hours. Upon arrival please BOARD THE LINK TRAIN TO VISCOUNT STATION. Then proceed down the escalator or elevator where you will find a courtesy phone to call for pick up. Please call 1 866 245 5501 from any payphone for assistance. Location is within 4 km radius of the airport.
Age
Minimum age requirement is 23 years with a valid drivers license and a major credit card in their own name. 24 years of age for premium cars and vans. Drivers age 23-24 are subject to an under age fee of 9.99/day as well as an underage LDW Insurance of 22.95/day with a 2000 CAD deductable.

Gas
All vehicles are rented with a full tank of gasoline and must be returned full. Otherwise a charge of 1.98CAD per litre will apply. Prepaid fuel options are available. Please check at the rental counter for details.
Geographical Restrictions
Kilometres are unlimited as long as the vehicle stays within the province of Ontario, with a maximum of 3000 kilometres. If border restrictions are not met then unlimited kilometres are voided. Vehicles travelling outside the province have 200kms/day and additional 0.20/km.
After Hours Drop Off
Vehicle is to be dropped off at the same location as pick up. After hours drop off permitted to location. After hours shuttle to airport is $6.00/person provided by Holiday Inn. Please call location for further details. Please note that renters are fully responsible for the vehicle until location re opens.
Acceptable forms of Payment
Driver must present a current and valid major credit card in their own name. All vehicles require a minimum $500CAD major credit card deposit. Personal cheques, cash, debit cards, check cards and pre paid credit cards are not accepted as a form of deposit but may be used for payment of rental only

Valid driver's license
Renter must present a valid driving license from their country of origin. Renter must have a valid international drivers license if the driver’s license of origin is not printed in the roman alphabet. Renter must have a valid passport.
Additional drivers are allowed but must meet the same requirement as primary driver. Location policies that apply to the primary driver also apply to additional drivers. Additional driver fee is 7CAD/day. Spouse charge is15CAD flat one time fee.
Insurance and Collision Damage Waiver
CDW is not mandatory, however proof of coverage must be provided at the counter when declining coverage
CDW for underage drivers 23-24 is 22.95/day with a 2000 responsibility
BASIC 19.95/day with 1500 responsibility
GOLD 29.95/day with a 750 responsibility
Liability insurance is required by law
SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY is 7.99/day
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE is 6.99/day
GLASS and TIRE PROTECTION is 6.99/day with a 50 deductable
There are exclusions to CDW. It can be void if renter has an accident while intoxicated or if rental vehicle is driven on an unpaved road# or push or tow anything. For this type of negligence. The exclusions vary by location and are printed on the back of the rental agreement. Drivers personal auto policy may cover damage to the rental vehicle. If renter does not have a personal auto policy covering the rental vehicle or proof of this coverage at the time of rental# and the renter opts not to purchase CDW# the rental location may choose not to release the vehicle to the renter.
Cancellations
Road Star Car Rental requires a major credit to secure this reservation. However, your credit card will not be charged at this time. All cancellations must be submitted within 24 hours prior to pick up or will be subject to a one day rental charge.
